rapid and reliable

Metrobus m1 route mapThe m1 will take advantage of the new bus-only junction on the M32 which allows metrobus to bypass Junction 1 and Filton Road which in peak hours are often heavily congested.

It also uses new and improved bus lanes across the city that were built for metrobus, including the recently extended bus lane on the M32 which has already sped up journeys for all bus passengers traveling into Bristol and the new bus lanes in the city centre which have reduced journey times for all bus services traveling through the centre.

The m1 will also use new bus lanes built by metrobus in Patchway, Aztec West, Bradley Stoke, Redcliff Hill, Bedminster and Hartcliffe Way.
